Johannes is a Copenhagen-based gaffer and best boy working across narrative film, commercials, music videos, documentaries, and live performance. With a background in electrical and lighting design, he combines a strong technical foundation with an instinct for atmosphere, composition, and storytelling through light.

His work spans productions of different scales, from intimate independent films to larger commercial and narrative projects. He is experienced in designing and executing lighting setups, managing lighting departments, and working closely with directors, cinematographers, and crews to create precise, considered images on set.

Alongside filmmaking, Johannes works across creative and technical disciplines, with an interest in photography, sound, interactive media, and emerging technology.
